How to Use Audacity

Welcome to our online video series on how to use Audacity, one of the most popular recording software programs in use today. As a general transcriptionist you will most likely have a good deal of opportunities to pick up work if you know how to record client webcasts and podcasts, if they're not in a format that you can easily download.

So to make it a little easier to understand, I thought I'd do a video instead of a bunch of words and still screen shots so you can see how it's done.

If you haven't already done so, you'll need to download the Audacity programs from audacity.sourceforge.net and install it.

It's a pretty small yet very powerful program. Once you've downloaded and installed the program, stop back here and click on the video below.
