ensure that you try and get feeback about the company via google search. www.cabbagetreesolutions.com is one of the few companies into transcriotion service who offers legitimate jobs and timely payment.

I was literally about 1 minute away from buying software -- YIKES! I thought everything looked legit; I even checked out the company with the Secretary of State to ensure the company was legit. It was. They claim to be part of the BBB in their area; they are. So just as I was getting on-line to make my nearly $500 payment for this incredible software they said I needed, I found LOTS of info from people that had indeed paid money, didn't get what they thought.... on and on. In the end I checked them out through the States BBB and found them to indeed be less than reputable.

You just have to check and check again! I thought I had done a pretty thorough job and was blessed to be able to learn the truth before I got hood-winked. BEST OF LUCK.

Yes, I'd like info on this,too. I've worked 2 months for a company that hasn't paid me yet. (First paycheck was due Dec.21st, 2009) Everything "seemed" in order. They had a webpage (don't anymore), a contract, confidentiality agreement, I signed and sent them my W9 and everything. Sigh. I think it must be hard to tell.
