How to Use Express Scribe
Tied for second on the priority list of transcription tools is your audio playback software. It turns your computer into an online digital transcriber unit by using a headset and a foot pedal that plug into your computer.
The most widely used audio playback software program by general transcriptionists today is Express Scribe, a very small but powerful program that's free to download and free to keep and use. You can even get free updates as NCH improves on the program.
